Nebula Guild

How a gaming guild turned quiet weekdays into its busiest nights

  • +64%more weekly active members
  • 2.3×more time in voice
  • 41%of members joined a season

The challenge

Nebula Guild had a loyal core of players who organized raids on weekends, but weekdays were quiet. Most of the server's 18,000 members only showed up for big announcements.

The team also spent hours after every event handing out game keys and roles by hand.

What they set up

They started with voice hangout rewards: tiered points at 30, 60 and 120 minutes in the gaming voice channels, reset daily.

Next came a monthly season leaderboard with an image board in #leaderboard and a reset that lets members keep 10% of their balance. Message-triggered drops with game keys from the shop's stock gave busy chats a reason to stay busy.

Our weekdays used to be dead. Now people jump into voice after work because there's always something to play for.
